"A TASTE OF YORBA LINDA ... A Little Bit of Country" - Friday, July 31, 2009 Get those Cowboy Boots polished;  Western Gear out and dusted off for the "BIG" Taste of Yorba Linda on Friday, July 31, 2009.  The "TASTE" will be held at the Yorba Linda Community Center from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.  Get ready to eat, have some beverages and learn how to Line Dance! Entertainment for the evening is Christian Simons with the Broken Arrow Band.  You will be in for an enjoyable evening of Country Western Music! BUSINESS OF THE MONTH FOR MAY,  2009  Business of the Month for May is Lamppost Pizza - West Yorba Linda.  The banner was presented to Andy Strouse owner of Lamppost Pizza.  Andy has been a huge supporter of the Chamber from serving "beverages" for the Taste of Yorba Linda and Casino Night.  Lamppost hosted the Network Connection every Tuesday for the past six months.  Lamppost just doesn't serve pizza, they several other items on their menu from pastas, sandwiches and fantastic salads! If you have children in sports, you probably have made a stop at Lamppost to celebrate a team win or to hold a wrap up party for the year.  It is a "happening place" for the Little League and soccer teams! Congratulations Andy for being chosen as Business of the Month for May, 2009!
